I will try it since you recommend it. I love Margaret Atwood when she doesn't get too far away from this world. I thought the Blind Assassin was a perfect combination and a great book, and Alias Grace was even better (but there was nothing futuristic about that one, completely historical, just wonderful). Some of her stuff I pick up, start to read, and never get through the first chapter.
